The experience in taking professional photojournalism photography is put to the test, many great moments appear at the same time and I know it won’t be for long. As professional photographer I should be able to capture all that moment in beautiful professional photojournalism photography. The test happen on Mike and Titin memorable day, happy tears all mix together with the pure love of the bride and groom. The audience seems get involved on the happiness of the couple, tear, laugh and joyful smile all mix together something that rarely happen in daily life. I’m as Bali professional photographer feels very lucky being able to be captures all most the precious moment through the lens of my camera.

It’s a garden ocean private villa over viewing the Indian Ocean with clear blue skies on that day very magnificent place and very suitable to celebrate your memorable day in the island. The wedding day ceremony was held at Nikko Bali hotel in Nusa Dua, very beautiful place for celebrating a wedding ceremony and also make a beautiful photograph. As usual before the ceremony, we as Bali professional photographer, always take the preparation pictures of the bride and groom during their make up and getting dress.

The bride and groom ask us to take their pictures with artistic and professional style on the beach with camel before the ceremony start. It’s really unique experience and we as bali professional photographer love it so much as the bride and groom love it.

Unfortunately the weather is not support us to get beautiful natural blue skies, as it’s look’s gone rain. Luckily we as professional Bali wedding  photographer able to finish the outdoor photo shooting before the rain start.

The main event of the ceremony was running very smoothly with amazing view of the Indian Ocean from the chapel. That’s all for the short story and the full story will be describe by the pictures bellow.

Pre wedding photo shoot of Ferry and Tania running very smoothly with great confident of the couple, the weather also support us to get beautiful back drop of the picture. The place that we take the photo there are, Taman Ujung Karangsem, Candi Dasa beach, Tukad Unda in Klungkung regency and the last and the most important thing is Tegal Wangi beach for the sunset background. The bride and groom was so intimate and very friendly, cheerful expression is something that the beneficial thing this couple has.

The engagement photo shooting start from the water palace or Taman Ujung Karangasem, the great memory of Karangasem empire. It is a park steeped in history, a place where you can wonder around and find peace within your self and very suitable for engagement photo shoot.

No wonder so many people would like to have their engagement photo here. As usual we move on to Candi Dasa for blue sky background and Tukad Unda river for the water dam in Klungkung regency.

The hidden beach at Jimbaran bay become the last place for the engagement photo shoot.

Edward and Amy, they have a big sense of humor and that’s a benefit for them to get a natural expression of their photograph. To make beautiful outdoor prewedding photo we as photographer, always need the support of Mother Nature. That day was beautiful cloudy sky in Bali, we start from early in the morning and have to wake up at 4 am in the morning but that something we must do. The location of Taman Ujung-Karangasem (first place we gone take photo) from Denpasar it takes 2 hours by cars and we have to avoid bright sun light to get a maximum exposure for our prewedding photography.

Warmth here means all photo will be great, I believe you will be amazed, impressed and suddenly acquisitive with the beauty of the open space and layouts that embrace the Bali Ocean and Bali architectural site.

We pick 5 locations for 1 day prewedding photo shoot, there are:

• Taman Ujung – Karangasem for the Balinese architectural site
• Candi Dasa for the beach with blue sky
• Tukad Unda – Klungkung for the water fall
• Mangrove – Denpasar
• Hidden beach/ Tegal Wangi beach at Jimbaran

The bride and groom are very cooperating with our guidance of pose, their smile and expression is the key to our success of taking good prewedding photography. The Wedding day was held at Nikko Bali Hotel, the chapel call Wiwaha chapel. It’s elegant and very beautiful no wonder so many people want to have their memorable moment at Wiwaha Nikko chapel. The event was running so smoothly and the weather also supports us with blue bright sky. The good corporation of the bride and groom make us very comfortable to get good quality wedding photography.

The wedding start from the groom house that we go to the bride house for propose the bride, it takes about 1 hour by car to the bride house. The wedding day continued with blessing ceremony held on the bride house by the Hindu holly price. Than we goes to the groom house for the main ceremony. The bride and groom were wearing a Balinese traditional dress.

You must be thinking, what is photojournalism, illustrative and traditional style of wedding photography, I will explain to you the description of the most demanding style now days in the market.

1. Photojournalism

The art of capturing moment without being noticed by the person or people on the photo, normally people barely know there is photographer around their area but for wedding totally something different. On the wedding you will notice there is a photographers around you but you will unnoticed that the photographer will take your moment that really happen, they usually use long telephoto lens for candid photojournalism. Photojournalism style photographer normally don’t really like pose family photo bride and groom formal poses. To master this style, photographers need many experience and very well known how to use their gears very fast. If you would like to hire photojournalism style photographer, watch carefully on their wedding photo gallery, than you will notice which photo is the moment really happen or just pretending to be happen.

2. Illustrative,

Illustrative style usually has by creative photographer who love design, texture and element of color, their style create thing to be happen not just wait to be happen.  They will guide you trough every pose and interact with you to get natural expression. The photographer usually has so many different ways of lighting poses and angle combining the mastering photo editing in Photoshop. Their work usually has dreamy and artistic style combine with texture.

3. Traditional

Traditional style of photography has been pushed away by photojournalism and illustrative style now days, but many clients still want to have traditional ways. For example family photo shoot with bride and groom and bride and groom with their friend. Most of photojournalism and illustrative style photographer still do the traditional style, so it make the traditional way still has it’s place.

As conclusion, a  good wedding photographer must have the ability of photojournalism style with fast and accurate in capturing moment and also combine with artistic style of lighting, poses and able to interact with you to get natural expression in fun ways. Last but leas, is able to take formal family shoot with bride and groom.

Pre-wedding photography usually occur in 1 or 2 moths before the wedding day. In my prewedding packages I offer a free option to the client, to choose the location of the prewedding photography according to their taste and no additional charge required, because my packages base on how many location of the prewedding photo shoot.

Prewedding location is one of the most importance things that you have to decide because it influence all the result of your prewedding photo. That’s the reason why you should discuss in advance with your photographer.

There are many ways for you how to find out and know where the perfect prewedding location that you going to choose, there are:

1. Ask your photographer of their favorite place for pre wedding photo shoot. All prewedding photographer must have some of their favorite place for prewedding photography, cause they already familiar with the spot and will be easier for the photographer to make good picture

2. Search in Bing,Yahoo, Google for prewedding photography location in Bali
3. Ask your relative or friend that already visited Bali once or often, surely they will know where the good place for prewedding photography.

To make a little charm on your prewedding photo, try to get hand bouquet with your florist or ask your photographer to get you one.

Get your prewedding photo shoot in a place that means something to you and at last book your photographer in advance.
